Honda has announced the launch of a new electric SUV, the S7, which will compete with the Tesla Model Y. This model came to the market after the successful launch of the first electric SUV, the Honda Prologue, which outsold all electric vehicles based on the GM Ultium platform last year.

The S7 is distinguished by a number of features, including a remote parking system via smartphone. It allows you to conveniently park the car even in narrow spaces. One of the main advantages of the Honda S7 is the battery, which consists of 13 modules that can be easily replaced, which reduces maintenance and repair costs by 80%.
In addition, Honda has included a Level 2 autonomous driving system as standard, supplementing it with useful features such as smartphone parking for easy manoeuvring in tight spaces.
Another important feature is the equal power distribution between the front and rear wheels (50:50), which was first used in the Honda S2000. This design improves the vehicle's handling, making it more stable at highway speeds and reducing the risk of skidding.
The S7's suspension system features adjustable dampers that instantly adapt to changes in the road. This helps to maintain the smooth ride and comfort that Honda maintains even in the electric version of its car.
Honda has also taken care of safety - the 90-kilowatt battery is designed for 650 km of range, and the car's metal body, which can withstand pressures of up to 15 tonnes per cm², guarantees a high level of protection in the event of an accident. Thanks to its 61.7% axle length, the cabin offers plenty of space, and the rear seats provide passengers with a reclining comfort. The BOSE sound system with headrest speakers provides clear sound, and a diffuser fills the cabin with one of seven available fragrances.
The price for the new model starts from $35,840, and the first buyers can take advantage of special offers. The S7 is the first Honda model to support Level 2 autopilot system.
