Apple presenterar iPad Air med M3-chip, 128 GB basminne och ingen SIM-kortplats

Apple has updated the basic iPad, retaining the design of the previous model but improving the technical characteristics. The iPad (11th generation) received a more powerful processor and increased minimum memory, but lost one important feature.
Here's What We Know
The new iPad retains the familiar design, size, weight and colour options of the previous iPad (10th generation). However, the display is now slightly larger - 11 inches instead of 10.9, although the resolution and brightness remain unchanged.

The main upgrade is the A16 Bionic chip, which replaced the A14 Bionic from the 2022 model. It has a 5-core CPU, 4-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine. The memory configurations have also changed: 128GB, 256GB and 512GB variants are now available instead of 64GB and 256GB in the previous model.

The iPad (11th generation) retains the 12MP main and front cameras, but now supports Smart HDR 4. It also has stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.3 and Smart Connector. The device is available in Wi-Fi and cellular versions, but now supports only eSIM - the physical SIM card slot has been removed.

The new iPad supports the Apple Pencil (1st generation) and is available in blue, pink, yellow and silver colours. The price starts at $349 for the 128 GB model, the same price as the 10th generation iPad with 64 GB of storage. The 256GB and 512GB versions cost $449 and $649 respectively, and the mobile-ready models cost $499, $599 and $799. Sales will start on 12 March.
