Samsung Galaxy A56 lanseras med nytt chip, 50 MP-kamera och Android 15
Samsung has officially unveiled its new Galaxy A56 smartphone. The device has received a number of important updates, including an improved camera, a more powerful chipset, a brighter screen and enhanced software support.
Technical Characteristics
Galaxy A56 has a new camera design inspired by the Galaxy Fold series. Now the three lenses are located in a single elongated block, not separately, as in previous models.
The back panel of the smartphone is made of Gorilla Glass Victus+, the frame is made of metal, and the side keys and SIM card tray contain 20% recycled plastic. The model will be available in four colours: Awesome Graphite, Awesome Lightgray, Awesome Olive and Awesome Pink.
The front camera has been upgraded to 12 MP and supports HDR video. Improved Low Noise Mode provides better selfies in low light conditions.
The main camera includes:
- 50 MP with optical stabilisation and autofocus
- 12 MP ultra-wide lens
- 5 MP macro lens
Samsung has also improved the speed of switching between cameras and added support for Auto Exposure Bracketing HDR for clearer photos in different lighting conditions.
The Galaxy A56 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with up to 1,900 nits of brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The performance is powered by the new Exynos 1580 (4nm), which provides up to 18% better performance compared to Exynos 1480. The smartphone also received an enlarged evaporation camera, as in the flagship Galaxy S24+.
The storage capacity is 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB. The battery remains at 5,000 mAh, but now supports 45W fast charging.
The Galaxy A56 runs on Android 15 with One UI 7. It is the first smartphone in the A5x series to receive 6 generations of One UI updates and 6 years of security patches.
The smartphone also supports AI features such as Circle to Search, improved text recognition, and Samsung Wallet digital key for cars (NFC + Bluetooth).
The Galaxy A56 will be available in the coming weeks in Europe, Asia and North America.
