The camera has added software innovations, including AI object tracking and CameraFX effects, which allow you to create dynamic videos without complicated editing. The Quik app will offer AI Object Tracking, which allows you to select an object and then use artificial intelligence to keep that object in focus while you shoot.
The app will also create new effects, such as flips and camera rotation, with just one tap. If you want to control the 360-degree video yourself, the Reframe feature is available. For those who prefer editing on a computer, there is a new GoPro Reframe plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
The new GoPro Max (2025) has a starting price of $349. The previous model cost $499.99. It is already available for pre-order on the official GoPro website.
