Exactly one year ago, Disney invested $1.5 billion in Epic Games, announcing a multi-year partnership to create an "expanded and open gaming and entertainment universe connected to Fortnite". It has now become known that the joint project has entered a "stable" stage of development.

Although the details of the cooperation remain unknown, a well-known HypeX insider said that the transition to the "stable" stage may indicate significant progress in development and the achievement of a new stage in the project roadmap.
During the announcement of the partnership, such franchises as Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and Avatar were mentioned. Players were promised the opportunity to "create their own stories and experiences, express their love for Disney in their own distinctive way, and share content with each other in their favourite formats".
Fans have various theories about future content, including the possibility of adding a mode similar to Disney Infinity or creating a permanent "Disney metaverse" to explore in the game.
