Casio has released new teasers for the G-Shock GAV-01 watch on the Chinese platform Weibo. Two marketing videos feature a new brand character - CoolEyes.

These videos hint at possible design elements and features of the new model. In addition, there are rumours that the GAV-01 model will be released in five variants.
It is known that there are currently four colour options: GAV-01-1A, GAV-01-2A, GAV-01-8A and GAV-01A-9A. There is also a possibility of a fifth model - a special edition or collaboration. However, the details of this option remain unclear.
Although Casio has not yet revealed the official design or features of the GAV-01, videos on Weibo provide some clues. One of the videos shows the CoolEyes character entering a stadium, which may indicate a possible sports function of the watch. In addition, the design of the stadium may hint at the shape of the case's bezel. The second video mentions the letter "V", which is a mysterious element in the model's name. The used hashtag "OpenVWorld" does not reveal what exactly this letter means. Some suggest that it may be related to the concept of "Virtuality".

A limited edition CoolEyes box will be available for the first 1000 buyers in China. The official launch date is not yet known, as well as whether this watch will be available in other markets.
