Recently, new details about the Powerbeats Pro 2 headphones, which are supposed to be the successor to the popular Beats model, have been leaked.

Here's What We Know

According to new data from Roland Quandt insider, Powerbeats Pro 2 will be equipped with new microphones borrowed from AirPods Pro 2. Besides, the device will receive an updated design that includes optical LED sensors for heart rate measurement on each earbud.

This technology will allow measuring heart rate up to 100 times per second, and although it will be available for both iOS and Android users, its functionality will be limited to training.

In terms of price, according to @billbil_kun, the Powerbeats Pro 2 will cost around €299.95 in Europe, a price that is in line with the previous model. However, the original Powerbeats Pro can be found much cheaper on third-party platforms, for example, on Amazon they are sold for $149.99.

The new model will be equipped with the Apple H2 chipset, which will provide up to 10 hours of operation on a single charge and up to 45 hours with a charging case. In addition, the Fast Fuel technology will allow you to get 90 minutes of music playback in 5 minutes.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 will also feature IPX4 certification to protect against sweat and moisture, and three microphones per earbud. The case will support Qi wireless charging and the "Find My" feature for iOS, as well as "Locate My Beats" for Android.

The official release date has not yet been announced, but Powerbeats Pro 2 is expected to hit the market in the coming weeks.
