ASUS presenterar bärbara speldatorer i ROG Strix-, Flow- och Zephyrus 2025-serierna
ASUS has announced a new line of gaming laptops equipped with advanced Intel and AMD processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards with DLSS 4 support. The new products include the updated Strix, Flow and Zephyrus series, as well as the completely redesigned XG Mobile with Thunderbolt 5 support.
Strix series: new design and innovations
The ROG Strix 2025 lineup has received bold updates to its case design. The Strix SCAR 16, Strix SCAR 18, Strix G16 and Strix G18 feature full RGB lighting that covers the entire chassis and, for the first time in gaming laptops, a tool-free bottom panel. With the push of a button, users can easily open the laptop to clean the fans or upgrade the RAM and storage. No ribbon cables or screwdrivers are required, making maintenance much easier.
All models come with a double layer of ACR film on the display, which reduces glare by 55% and increases contrast by 4.5 times. This makes the image brighter and helps players see their opponents better in all conditions.
Advanced graphics and performance
The ROG Strix line does not disappoint when it comes to performance. The laptops are equipped with mobile versions of the latest NVIDIA graphics cards, including the GeForce RTX 5090 with DLSS 4. RTX Tensor opens up opportunities for 700+ AI-optimised apps and games, including popular applications for image generation and large language models. The ROG Strix 2025 laptops are powered by the latest Intel and AMD processors:
- Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX is available in Strix SCAR and Intel versions of Strix G16 and G18.
- AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D - in Strix G16 and Ryzen 9 9955HX - in Strix G18.
All models support up to 64GB of DDR5 5600MHz RAM and 4TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage for the Strix SCAR, and up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage for the G16 and G18.
Smart cooling for high workloads
The Intel versions of Strix feature a new heatsink design with dual heat fins above and below the evaporation chamber for more efficient cooling. Together with a full-size rear exhaust, liquid metal on the CPU and GPU, and ample ventilation on the sides, bottom, and keyboard, the system can operate at up to 240W with reduced noise. Integrated dust filters protect the system from dirt, extending its durability.
The AMD versions of Strix feature 7 heatpipes, full-size vents and a wide heatsink to dissipate heat efficiently. Combined with triple-fan cooling, these laptops provide stable temperatures for VRAM and GPU during peak workloads.
Flow series: portability without compromise
In 2025, ASUS is taking the concept of portable performance to the next level with the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, a chip-based (where the processor is divided into several separate units called chipsets) desktop processor that delivers powerful RDNA 3.5 graphics comparable to the Radeon 8060S and energy efficiency. Additionally, dedicated NPU cores deliver 50 TOPS of processing power for AI tasks, making the Flow Z13 a smart choice for Copilot+ users.
Flow Z13 has premium power components: 14 phases of power supply and Japanese capacitors. The processor uses a unified four-channel memory that allows up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 RAM to be dynamically allocated between the main and GPU processors.
To keep temperatures under control, the new evaporation chamber is made of stainless steel and copper, providing 54% more motherboard coverage than the previous generation chamber. Two second-generation Arc Flow Fans partially exhaust warm air through a special channel behind the touchscreen, reducing temperatures. The 2.5K ROG Nebula display with 180Hz refresh rate has 100% DCI-P3 colour space coverage and up to 500 nits of brightness.
The Flow Z13 gaming laptop features a 200W charging port, a dedicated HDMI 2.1 connector, and dual USB-A and USB-C ports with USB 4 support.
Flow Z13 offers two mobile graphics card configurations: GeForce RTX 5090 and GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. Both models are presented in an updated chassis with a translucent off-black design that allows you to see inside the XG Mobile.

XG Mobile: external graphics card and docking station
To maximise the gaming experience, ASUS has introduced the updated XG Mobile. This is an external graphics module with Thunderbolt 5 support and advanced connectivity:
- Two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports
- HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1.
- 5 Gbps Ethernet port.
- MicroSD UHS-II card reader.
- Additional Thunderbolt 5 port.
XG Mobile allows you to turn any laptop or tablet into a powerful gaming station with just one cable.
Zephyrus series: slim design and powerful cooling
The ROG Zephyrus 2025 line combines compactness and performance with the Zephyrus G14 with AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor and the Zephyrus G16 with Intel Core Ultra 9 285H and graphics up to and including NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090. Cooling efficiency has been improved by 23% compared to last year's models.
The Zephyrus series laptops feature ROG Nebula Displays with up to 3K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. With support for NVIDIA Studio and optimisation for 150+ apps, Zephyrus is suitable for AI, 3D graphics, and video editing. The premium CNC-machined aluminium chassis with fluorescent backlighting further emphasises the style of the series.
