ASUS has introduced a new line of GeForce RTX 50 graphics cards based on NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. Among the new products is the ultra-low-end ROG Astral series, which offers both air and liquid cooling for enthusiasts and gamers. The rest of the graphics cards are distributed among the ROG Strix, ASUS TUF Gaming, and ASUS Prime lines.
What we know about ROG Astral graphics cards
The ROG Astral series features the first of its kind quad-fan design, which delivers 20% more airflow and pressure than previous three-fan models. This helps to reduce hot spots and increase clock speeds. In addition, it uses ASUS' patented evaporation chamber with improved heatpipe design for more efficient heat dissipation.

To improve heat transfer between the GPU and heatsink, a phase change thermal pad is used that thins as it heats up, filling in microscopic irregularities and ensuring optimal contact. This not only improves cooling, but also increases the durability of the thermal interface under high loads. For liquid cooling enthusiasts, ASUS offers the ROG Astral LC GeForce RTX 5090 with a full-size cold plate and 360mm radiator to cool the GPU and other components.
