Samsung is finalising the update of some of its smartphones to the December security patch and this includes the Galaxy S21 FE, which runs on the Exynos 2100 chip.

Here's What We Know

The version of the Galaxy S21 FE which is sold in Asia, Middle East and Africa and has the model number SM-G990E has started receiving the December 2024 security update. The update has received firmware version G990EXXXSCFXL2 and it fixes several system vulnerabilities that were found in the previous firmware version.

This update is expected for other versions of the Galaxy S21 FE in the coming days, and a big One UI 7.0 update is already expected for this model in the next couple of months.
