Garmin Fenix 8 får beta 13.13-uppdatering: nya tangentbordsfunktioner och buggfixar
Garmin has announced the release of the beta version of the 13.13 update for its Fenix 8 series smartwatches, including the Fenix 8, Fenix 8 Solar, Enduro 3, and Fenix E models.
Here's What We Know
This update brings a number of improvements, including new keyboard features and fixes to several bugs that have plagued users in previous versions.
One of the main changes is the keyboard update. The new beta version features a QWERTY keyboard layout, as well as a menu for selecting its layout, allowing users to more easily customise the way they type. Additionally, text prediction is now available, though it is currently only available in English. This allows for faster text entry on the watch's small screen.
In addition, the update includes additional improvements to several apps, including the Trolling Motor App. Users can now get current marine units and updated data on the watch screen.
Garmin has also resolved a number of technical issues. In particular, it fixed a bug with cropped emojis that prevented users from displaying emojis correctly. It also fixed the screen lock function, which sometimes turned off without warning. Another important fix concerns the play/pause function on the Spotify player, which now works flawlessly.
Updates are not downloaded automatically. Users need to manually check for updates. To do this, go to the System menu on the device and select the Check for updates option. Only then will the beta version 13.13 become available for download.
The question remains when these new features and fixes will be included in the public update for all Fenix 8 and Enduro 3 users.
